1. Set Expectations Early

Before you write a line of code or design a pixel, agree on the rules. What are your working hours? How many revision rounds are included? Prevent misunderstandings by putting everything in writing before the project starts.

2. The Weekly Update

Clients get anxious when they haven't heard from you. Send a simple Friday email:

Done this week: X, Y, Z
Next week: A, B, C
Blockers: Waiting on feedback for D

This 5-minute task eliminates 90% of "Hey, how's it going?" emails.

3. Own Your Mistakes

If you miss a deadline, own it. Don't make excuses. "I missed this deadline. Here is when I will have it to you. Here is how I will prevent this next time." Honesty builds respect faster than perfection.
